Yamhill-Carlton SKID Presentation, Oregon

 Fire Department "Drunk and other Accidents"
A presentation to the Y-C High School Students with the public welcome.

Setting up for the presentation

Ready to begin the presentation of what happens after an accident happened.
  1. Several officer arrive on scene to direct traffic.
  2. Fire trucks show up second to prepare things for the medics and get the severely injured out of the vehicles.
  3. Medical units show up third to help all they can with the wounded.
  4. If necessary, Life flight shows up to get the severely injured to a hospital fast as possible.
  5. The fire crew removes all parts of a vehicle so they can move the severely injured without hurting them further.
  6. Some firemen hold the injured necks still so that they stay alive in order to hopefully be saved. Police collect evidence to see what led to the crash from those who saw what happened.
  7. The most critically injured are taken to the hospital by life flight.
  8. Some extra fire crew or police stand by to comfort grief-stricken parents and/or friends.
  9. Cars or vehicles finally show up and all those on scene line up to show grief for the ones that died, the vehicles then carry away the dead bodies on scene.

  11. Medical examiners show up at the child's parents doorstep to tell them of their child's death.
